Deadlines: •January 10, 2022: Interview with AFROTC Detachment Commander(recommend completing in November or December)•January 10, 2022: Complete and submit the online application •February 1, 2022: Complete interview with Staff Judge AdvocateEligibility: 1.Attending an ABA-approved law school at an institution that either offers an AFROTC program or allows you to take AFROTC courses at a nearby school via a cross-town agreement2.Meet HQ AFROTC entry standards oMust interview with the AFROTC Detachment Commander before you apply to the JAG Corps (the earlier the better!) 3.Be a Citizen of the United States of America (birth or naturalization) 4.Be able to commission as an officer before the age of 40 Selection Criteria: 5.The Air Force JAG Corps selects applicants based on the “whole person” concept6.Selection factors include: Academic performance; work experience; leadership traits; extracurricular activities; personal integrity; awards and honors; adaptability and flexibility; motivation for service; legal writing/analytical skills; fitness; and military records (if applicable)*Your appointment as a judge advocate is contingent upon providing proof of legal licensing and completion of the Air Force medical requirements (after selection)
