Summer Internship at Securities and Exchange Commission – Paid

The SEC is launching the SEC Scholars Program in the Summer 2022. The program targets 2nd year law students to participate in a ten-week summer internship.

Assignments range from supporting litigation; assisting with drafting new regulations; helping with reviews, exams/public outreach; review of corporate documents; and research related to domestic, international and EDGAR access requests.

JAG Information Session and One-on-One Discussions

Students are invited to attend the JAG Information Session from 3-4 p.m.

Before the information session, the Navy JAG Team is offering one on one discussions about the JAG Corps from 2-3 p.m.

This is an opportunity for students to learn about what makes a career in the JAG Corps so special. The one-on-one discussion is a must for students interested in serving as a Judge Advocate in any branch of service.

Office of the Secretary of Defense: Summer Honors Legal Internship Program

Summer interns in the Office of Secretary of Defense Honors Legal Internship Program are given opportunities to enhance research and drafting skills by working closely with Office of General Counsel attorneys. Interns will assist in drafting and commenting on legislation, regulations, congressional testimony, litigation materials, and legal opinions.

Interns will also have the opportunity to assist in the process of formulating DoD legal policy on high-profile topics of current interest.

– Summer 2022

NLG’s Haywood Burns Memorial Fellowship for Social and Economic Justice for Summer 2022 is now taking applications.

Fellowships may be completed with any existing organization whose mission addresses the needs of individuals and groups who are the targets of systemic oppression, especially by the legal system.

This is a paid fellowship. Recipients can expect a $3,000 award for 10-weeks of full-time work.
