Volunteer Pro Bono Opportunity: Procedural Advisors in University Student Conduct Cases

The Syracuse University Office of the Dean of Students and the Office of Community Standards is seeking to engage law students as Procedural Advisors for Syracuse University students (undergraduate and graduate) who have been charged with violating the Student Code of Conduct. 

Procedural advisors play an important role in advising students of their rights, supporting, and assisting students in presenting their cases during resolution meetings and at hearings.

Craig N. Yankwitt Fellowship for Death Penalty Advocacy

Applications are now open for the 2-year fellowship at Justice 360, a non-profit organization in Columbia, South Carolina that is working to reform policies and practices in capital proceedings.

The Yankwitt Fellow will be involved in direct representation of death-sentenced individuals, advocacy efforts, and creating resources for other capital defense attorneys. The Fellow will also work on litigation and academic projects.
